Two British expats are rushed to hospital after their apartments COLLAPSED on them in Spain

“I’M LUCKY TO BE ALIVE,” David Keary said after his Spanish apartment collapsed on top of him!

David Keary 59, is a British bar worker from Essex. He was rescued by firefighters & was sent to the hospital immediately in order to be treated for a panic attack after the roof on his Spanish apartment in Costa Blanca collapsed this morning.  Another 58-year-old Brit also that was living in the apartment below Mr. David Keary was also sent to the hospital after he was being pulled from the rubble of his home by the authorities.

Mr. David Keary was taken to the Torrevieja University Hospital. Emilio Bascunana, the local mayor said: A building has collapsed around 8 am. They’re semi-detached duplex apartments. Fortunately, there hasn’t been any loss of life or serious injuries. Two people have been taken to the hospital, one suffering from a panic attack and another with superficial wounds including scratches.

There are some sniffer dogs also to track if anyone was trapped. One woman named Tisam said: Four of the properties I know of that are affected are home to three British people and a Swedish expat. A lot of people were sleeping when the collapse happened. There was a huge noise around 8 am. One of the Brits in the house that was the worst affected had to be brought out of a downstairs window by firefighters. The other man, a local bar worker called David, was upstairs and was taken away with shock
